Forget Me Nots & Voy Craft Forum

When I came back online after a too-long hiatus, I started visiting the Voy Craft Forum again and as always the talented ladies there are amazing. Be sure to drop in and join Kraftee Karen and all of the wonderful members. Also don't forget to check the archives. The archivers are truly angels and do an amazing job!

One recent discussion on the forum was about a Valentine Forget Me Not Seed Card on Martha Stewart's site. Joy suggested "You're too nice to forget." Here is the resulting Too Nice to Forget Seed Card.

My DH, Jim is a great photographer and uploaded some photos to share. I hope you enjoy them here.... Jim's scenic photos. Some of them would make beautiful wallpaper for your computer screen. He has another hobby too... pen turning. You can see his beautiful pens at StylishPens.com. These start from a square of wood or acrylic and sometimes he's even turned them from a piece of tree limb. Check out the rattlesnake skin pen too. That one is made from a special blank but you have to be very good to turn one of those! He has more patience than I do!

I took pictures of some of my handmade Christmas ornaments before packing them up this year, and I'll try to post a few occasionally. Otherwise I would procrastinate and this way I know they'll be up before next Christmas! LOL This is one of my favorites.... a little church doll angel. Anyone have more poems to post with her?

Jelly Bean Poem/A Bag Full of Colors

The beautiful Jelly Bean Poem has been on my site for a while and I recently found out that Charlene Dickerson wrote it in 1997, so I am very happy to give credit to Charlene for this wonderful poem. It is actually called A Bag Full of Colors. Luci Ritchie from CraftPals.com made it into a lovely card and also a cute topper. Luci runs a great forum where you'll find lots of great craft projects and talented crafters so be sure to visit.

While I'm updating my site, I decided to do something with CraftMallUSA.com too since I still have the name. Several years ago a company with a similar name insisted I take the site down. However they appear to be out of business, so I figure I am free to open it again. I'll put free links in it for anyone who has a craft site. Just e-mail me your link and I'll add it in. If you don't have a site but would like one, send me a few pictures and I'll put up a couple of free pages for you.

My 2008 goal is to get all of my sayings up and categorized, so I'm trying to do it before I run out of momentum. lol Some shopping sayings are up now. They really overlap with Money Sayings, so that will be the next category to go up. If you have any to add, please e-mail me. Thanks!
